Red Bricks Options.
Brick varieties suited to load-bearing and partition masonry.
- Wire-cut
- Table-mould
Bricks, blocks and AAC
Burnt clay bricks follow IS 1077. Solid and hollow concrete blocks follow IS 2185 Part 1 and are quicker to lay for compound walls and infill. AAC blocks (IS 2185 Part 3) are light, cut easily and insulate well, which reduces dead load on the structure; they need a thin-bed adhesive or the right mortar.
Storing on site
Stack on level ground, no more than a metre high. Keep AAC blocks dry before use; wet clay bricks a day before laying.
Ordering Red Bricks for Your Site.
A plain-language guide. Always follow your structural engineer’s specification.
Wire-cut bricks
Machine-cut to a more uniform size and edge, which helps where brickwork is left exposed or joints need to be neat.
Table-mould bricks
Moulded bricks commonly used for walls that will be plastered.
Before laying
Wet clay bricks a day before laying so they do not draw water out of the mortar.

- Is there a minimum order?
- We supply single-site quantities for homeowners as well as bulk supply for contractors. Small orders may carry a delivery charge, which is shown on the quotation.

- How quickly can you deliver?
- Stock items around Bengaluru typically go out within a few working days of order confirmation. Larger or scheduled supplies are planned against your construction stages.
