AAC Blocks Options.
Lightweight blocks that reduce dead load and speed up masonry.
- Lightweight
- multiple thicknesses
Bricks, blocks and AAC
Burnt clay bricks follow IS 1077. Solid and hollow concrete blocks follow IS 2185 Part 1 and are quicker to lay for compound walls and infill. AAC blocks (IS 2185 Part 3) are light, cut easily and insulate well, which reduces dead load on the structure; they need a thin-bed adhesive or the right mortar.
Storing on site
Stack on level ground, no more than a metre high. Keep AAC blocks dry before use; wet clay bricks a day before laying.
Ordering AAC Blocks for Your Site.
A plain-language guide. Always follow your structural engineer’s specification.
Lower dead load
AAC is light, which reduces the load walls put on beams and columns.
Insulation
AAC blocks insulate well, which matters most for walls that take direct sun.
Laying
Use a thin-bed block adhesive or the right mortar, and keep blocks dry until they are used.

Common Questions.
Short answers to the questions we hear most. For anything project-specific, send an enquiry.
- Do AAC blocks need a special mortar?
- They are laid with a thin-bed block adhesive or the right mortar rather than ordinary thick joints. Follow the block manufacturer’s recommendation.
- Do you publish prices?
- No. Material prices move with brand, grade, quantity and delivery location, so every quotation is prepared for the specific project. Send an enquiry and we will itemise it.
- Is there a minimum order?
- We supply single-site quantities for homeowners as well as bulk supply for contractors. Small orders may carry a delivery charge, which is shown on the quotation.
- Can you supply a specific brand?
- Usually yes. Tell us the brand and grade you need and we will confirm availability for your location before quoting.
- How quickly can you deliver?
- Stock items around Bengaluru typically go out within a few working days of order confirmation. Larger or scheduled supplies are planned against your construction stages.
- Do you supply outside Bengaluru?
- Yes. We serve projects across Karnataka. Delivery lead time and charges depend on distance and vehicle access at site.
